Service Project
Up

On Sunday, September 26, 2004, the Troop headed to The Donner Rim Trail for a Service Project. The photos below were taken while working on the trail.

Just so you know where we are.

A great view from near the top of the ridge. This is looking south, across Donner Lake (which is hidden from view).

It was hot, dry and dusty. But the Scouts cleared and widened the trail.

A path for a stream needed to be cleared out. They were all over that! (I'm surprised we didn't have any mud-slinging...)

Not everyone worked the stream. Brush had to be cut back, rocks moved out of the way, etc.

It will be much easier for folks to hike this trail. Hope you get a chance to walk on by and see our handiwork.

Time for a break. Get something to eat and drink before we get started again.

Great job!
