Okay, time for some serious hiking. The Scouts have come to Ubehebe Crater. It looks like two craters side-by-side.

So off we go. Most of us take the "easy path" (on the left). But a few of the Scouts want to hike the rim (around to the right).

Now if you can make out those two little things walking along the ridge, that's the adventurous team.

Me, I took "the easy route". And I still have to get back to the parking lot.

And yes, I stopped along the way to smell the flowers.

Nothing better than a quick dip in a pool and some pool-football after a hike. Then again, some of us kicked back and took a nap.

Okay, fun's over. Time for more exploring. This time it's Mosaic Canyon.
