2003 Dillon Beach

On February 28, 2004, the Troop headed to Dillon Beach to play some football and attack the sand dunes. The photos below were taken on Saturday, the 28th.

So we are at the beach. The Pacific Ocean is to our Right. But do we care? NO! It's time to play some football.

Okay, that was a nice play. What else do you have up your sleeve?

Nothing like some live crabs to get the Scout's attention. Watch those pinchers, they'll grab you before you know it.

Okay, so what do you suppose we have that these crabs will eat? (Nothing like a little scientific curiosity...)

Now you're talking. This is what we came here for; the Sand Dunes.

How did all this sand get here and how in the world can we make one of these at home?

Kids, don't try this a home. Some more scientific curiosity, are you strong enough to get out of a sand pit if we put you into one?

Well, it's not easy getting out... Hey, were did everyone go? I'm ready to get out now. Hey guys? Yo guys!
