 An important part of any campout is eating. And you need a really hot fire to cook correctly.

 Scouting is supposed to be a "boy lead experience". But every once in a while, "if you want it done right...". One of our Adult Leaders was worried that to many of these thin burgers would end up in the fire.
|  Our primary objective was kayaking. It started off very foggy but was beginning to clear up. Here we are taking a break. The tide was coming in and we were paddling against the tide.

 Even though it was hard work at times, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Here's one "happy camper" with a big smile on his face.

 They just can't get enough water. After kayaking all morning and getting something to eat, it's time for the beach (and Monterey has some nice ones). Whoever "put" this rock here must have been thinking about our Scouts!
